Unfortunately the product did not match exactly what we were looking for, but we have very specific requirements that could not be listed in the product description.Customer service was very prompt to answer our questions and even modified the product program to try and support our requirements.

I bought two of Eyoyo 2D Barcode Scanners to replace the old scanners in my business. The add says that you can «add custom prefixes/suffixes» but that's a lie. The manual doesn't have the codes for these operations, instead it says "contact support via email". Also, the scanner only works with the legacy USB 2.0 slot (black). Our FreeBSD based POS system doesn't recognize the scanner if it's plugged into a standard USB 3.0 port (blue). Newer computers simply don't have USB 2.0 slots. Without the prefix, the scanner won't work at all. Will have to file a return. I am extremely disappointed.P.S.The manufacturer eventually responded to my emails and sent me a barcode for programming the prefix (but it still doesn’t work). The situation with USB 3.0 remained unclear and they promised to change the scanners to a new model. I will add one star because the manufacturer has responded and they are trying to somehow correct the situation.
