Topping have produced a very nice DAC, and for a change, one that doesn't use the ubiquitous ESS Sabre chips. Not that there's anything wrong with the Sabre, just nice to see someone doing something slightly different.So, a beautifully presented product in a solid and neat aluminum enclosure that feels silky-smooth. It works straight off the bat with a Windows PC (no special drivers required, but if you want to use it with a Keyboard/DAW arrangement, low latency ASIO drivers are available).Again, plugged into my Volumio streamer, it just works (USB).Sound-wise, loads of detail at all areas of the frequency range, but doesn't forget that it's meant to be producing music, and it does that brilliantly. Highly recommended

För the price a great DAC. You can't go wrong with this one. If you want a better DAC you have to pay a lot more. Buy with confidence.

acheté pour remplacer la carte son intégrée de mon PC (realtek ALC1220, enceinte Edifier MR4), le son est légèrement meilleur mais ce n'est pas non plus une révolution. La séparation des canaux est meilleure, il y a un gain à l'écoute c'est un fait, mais ca reste léger.Ensuite je me suis dis tant qu'a faire, j'allais le tester avec Apple music, iphone branché en usb sur le dac, lui même branché sur mon ampli vintage datant de 1979 (yamaha CA-810), et ainsi profiter du hi-res sans perte. ce dac reconnait bien l'audio qui arrive de l'iphone en 192 khz pour les morceaux compatibles, et je dois dire que ca fait bien le taf. le son est un peu "froid" (numérique) je trouve, mais c'est agréable à écouter quand même. Sur un morceau comme Hotel California, le Hi-Res en 192khz et le vinyle d'époque en parfait état font jeu égal, avec quand même une légère préférence pour le vinyle un peu plus chaud, mais la c'est une question de gout. Bref avec un petit appareil comme celui la à ce prix, y'a quand même moyen de se faire plaisir si on à accès à de la musique en très bonne qualité.

Lo sto usando da diversi mesi ed è ok. Uso entrambe gli ingressi USB e S/PDIF collegati a due diversi dispositivi (USB su PC e S/PDIF su Focusrite Scarlett 6i6), collegato in uscita a un paio di monitor Neumann KH 120. L'unico difetto secondo me è il telecomando, che per funzionare richiede di essere puntato con estrema precisione sul frontale del DAC.

This was my first Topping product. I looked for a relatively inexpensive DAC to connect to my Rega Brio integrated amp. I searched quite a lot until I discovered this one. I liked the idea of dual chips, and the design looked cool.Once I got it, I was really impressed. The design, the packaging and, of course, the performance really exceeded my expectations. There is absolutely no noise or distortion coming out of the E30II, and the quality of sound is just excellent.I liked it so much that I just bought a second one for my office to go with a Topping headphone amp that I also ordered. I don't think you can get much better for the price.

Voorheen Schiit Modi3 DAC in gebruik. Deze was slechts 5 jaar oud.Dat een DAC een kort leven heeft blijkt wel uit wat deze Topping DAC voorzien van een dubbel AKM AK4493 nu in staat is. Wat een detaillering in stemmen en instrumenten, fantastisch. Plaatsing in het stereo beeld is messcherp en verfijnd.Ook de Chesky test CD onderschrijft in de test tracks waar de Topping E30ii in staat is in vergelijking met de Schiit Modi3. `De E30ii wint op alle test tracks.
