This product was exactly what I was looking for. The ballbearing design makes the door glide extremely smoothly compared to the regular hinges I had on this door.I used these hinges on a bookshelf door that I made. They were very easy to install even though I had already made the unit to fit using regular hinges. As you can see in the photo, I had to chisel a section of the doorway out to fit the top hinge (I am a DIYer and dont do this for a living as you can tell). The top hinge I ended up having to remove the ballbearing so that there was enough clearance at the bottom. This doesn’t affect it at all.As always, I cant fault the delivery of any Amazon stocked products with Prime.

Fenghome Pivot HingeI have never come across this type of hinge before, so I was interested in trying it out on an upcoming project.The hinge is well made and has a good coating of black paint. All the parts are nicely finished.I have my doubts about it being “stainless steel”, because in my opinion if it was there would have been no need to paint it. Time will tell.I did have trouble adjusting the screw that raises the cylinder but a few light taps on the cylinder released it. I think the paint was stopping it moving up and down.The supplied 30mm screws look like drywall screws so I am not sure that they are stainless steel. I did not receive any 16mm screws.The supplied instructions give a good insight into how the hinge operates and is installed. However, it would have been very useful if the measurements for positioning the hinges had been included as this would have saved a lot of time trying to decide where to begin. This is important especially when it is the first time someone may use this type of hinge. No one wants to spoil the door by fitting it incorrectly.Please be aware that the hinge requires the top section of the door frame to be at least 45mm thick to allow for the pivoting section of the hinge to be contained. Creating this cavity is the hardest part of fitting this hinge especially if you need to make the cavity while in situ.
