There are a lot of positives about this simple but very effective camping pot.First off, the aluminium ensures that it is suitably lightweight and easy to clean. The handle is lockable so folds flush when not in use to save space and obviously doesn’t conduct heat so can be easily held while cooking.The pot itself has a 750ml capacity, which is an ideal size for soup or boiling water and has a convenient pouring spout. The lid has a silicon handle to avoid burnt fingers and a small vent to allow steam to escape. With the lid on heat is retained allowing water to boil in approx 2 minutes.The base is a good width, providing stability on a typical camping stove and has an excellent heat exchanger. The pot also comes with a convenient mesh carry bag.Overall an excellent pot which ticks all the boxes.

So this is pretty light weight. I wanted something a little wider than most of the titanium pots out there. I like the fins on the bottom to help dissipate heat and save fuel and the slots fit perfectly on my Firemaple Greenpeak 1. I'm disappointed in the lid - actually melted a bit when the pot got hot. It also is "heavy" and a titanium lid would be best, I think. Now the dimension listed here are inconsistent. The picture says 5x5x5.8 and the technical details say 6.3x5.2x5.2. My measurements are as follows (in inches):ID = 4 5/8OD = 4 3/4Inside depth (where you'll cook) = 4Outside height (bottom of fins to top of pot w/o lid) = 4 1/2The lid adds approx 1 1/4On another note, the handle, which is convenient and folds up nicely to hold the lid in place for travel and has a rubberized coating that stayed cool is a nice feature. Pay attention when using it to pour. It "locks" into place, but there is still some play and the first time I started pouring the handle shifted and for a split second it felt like the handle was going to fold up. It didn't but it caught me off guard. If you are expecting the shift then no problem. Finally, I do like the pour spout, helps to direct liquid easily and is another gap for steam to escape when the lid is on.

FireMaple makes such good quality products at a great price point. This backpacking pot is super light, appears to be very durable and has some well thought out features like the alignment grooves in the bottom of the heat exchanger.

Wow, I'm impressed. I bought this to use with my pocket rocket deluxe. Fit is about perfect and water boils fast. I did a boil test comparing this to a normal pot, and a cup of water boiled about a minute faster in the fire maple pot.

Durch die lamellen am boden wird die wärme tatsächlich deutlich besser übertragenEs ist was kleines leichtes für wenig packmaß, also nichts ultra solides stabiles, das ist klarEs tut was es soll und das gut.Der deckel schließt nicht perfekt
