Save yourself a few quid and just buy a set of needles and decent length of thread from your local supermarket. This really isn't worth the money for the few, not particularly good quality items in the plastic box (the plastic box is probably the only decent part).

Best travel kit yet! For same price as other travel kits, you get Actual decent scissors (of course Fiskars.. duh!) real tape measurer (not paper!) and great case that shouldn’t fracture if dropped. Better quality for same price point! So tiny! Great for go bags, cars, purse! Wish I’d bought this kit first!

This is a gorgeous little set with beautiful scissors. I checked all the regulations for Australian air travel and these are supposedly TSA approved. Everything looked fine. However on my first trip through an airport today they were confiscated!! I am thoroughly disappointed as they apparently do not meet the specifications for Australian air travel. Completely unacceptable.
