The product worked the way we wanted as a gasket between a pipe and the hood.

The previous owner (clown) had cut 2-1 1/2" holes in the firewall. I needed to plug them and at the same time, run some new wiring to the engine. These grommets were exactly what I needed.

I used these for my truck when running quite a few harnesses through my firewall. There were some large relays that needed to go through the grommet, and there was a great bit of stretch available in it without breaking. It fits quite nicely and provides excellent protection from the metal edges.
