The padding is what I was looking for - Lighter weight, and less restrictive.I’d recommend these for people who aren’t completely new to their sport and take continuous heavy impact (i.e learning snowboarding) but may still expect to fall here and there.I dislike the lack of lower back/upper tailbone support. In order to cover this area with the shorts, they must be pulled uncomfortably high with is not accommodating for male private parts.Sizing chart seems clear. I’m 160lbs, 31” waist. Size XL fits me great although I usually wear M shorts.

Fits well under my snowbibs. Excellent protection to the coccyx on crusty hard snow slams. If you've ever broken your coccyx and have to a be super baby about blows to your delicate coccyx, these pants are a MUST.
Better than expected. Good quality for its price.

For the price i dont expect much quality and was ready for size issues given the reviews for items like this. Surprisingly it did fit me well.

I haven't used them yet, but I tried them on and the fit is great. I'm 49 yrs old and still hitting the steeps and park at Bridger Bowl, MT. Im a 38 waist in jeans and I ordered XXL. They stretch nicely without squeezing you uncomfortably.
