The product works decently considering the price and that they are sold in bulk. I did notice it’s slightly harder to blow than other more expensively priced whistles. But they serve their purpose.

I bought my daughter mace when she was college age, but now that she has two small children, so I was looking for a safer alternative. I bought this to put in her car and to carry in her purse in case she sees some suspicious activity, she can blow it ahead of time. If everything‘s OK, no harm no foul, if there is a problem, it will may scare someone off to an easier target. I also did not want her to have mace in her car that the small ones could get into and get injured. As an unexpected bonus, all four of my grandkids to play with the whistles, so I had to order a second 12 pack so that I could have their toys and still enough for all of our vehicles. Another bonus, I have several for my 90+ family member, in case of a fall or urgency, one is always in reach and louder than his voice.
