I'm going to be working outdoors a lot this year and being a very pale Northerner, I need to keep the sun off my head. This hat looks great, it's lightweight, fits perfectly and because it's woven, it won't make my head sweat too much. My head sweats a lot when I'm thinking too much, so I'll also cut down on using my brain.This hat also makes me look like a member of Lynyrd Skynyrd, so that's no bad thing. I fully expect to have a harem of groupies by July. It's not as sturdy as a leather cowboy hat, but it looks great and works perfectly.
