Cheap and cheerfulZip is not robust enough expect it to fail quicklyThe supplied rod is just a gimmick as its not long enough and collapses when weight of cover is on it !

So far this is working great. I didn’t want to move the umbrella inside for the winter but I didn’t want it ruined in the elements. Easy to use and so far it has stayed put through some severe wind storms.

We needed to replace our patio umbrella cover and I read through many reviews. This cover is quite thin, but works very well. As mentioned in other reviews, it does make a bit of noise on windy days, so be aware of that if this would annoy you. It's a little bit tricky to figure out how to get it on a big umbrella, but the wand that it comes with helps. Great value for the $ as it does the job. Seems pretty durable, but can't comment how it holds up long-term as we've only had it for a month or so.

This is made of a thin nylon like fabric that, while lightweight appears durable and weather resistant. It fits my 9x11 cantilevered umbrella well. It has a zipper down its length and comes with a telescoping pointer like device to enable you to put the cover over the umbrella without a step ladder or stool. The umbrella pole is about 8 feet tall. You will see why you need something to get the cover over the top (a broom handle would work). It will keep the sun from bleaching the umbrella and save me from having to store it in the garage. Works for me.
