This thing is Handy on hot days going for long walks with the doggo. It took a little bit of coaxing to get him to drink out of it because it was a different situation for him. But once he got the hang of it now as soon as he sees me starting to unfold the built-in bowl he's right there dancing ready to have some water.

Me and my son go on 3 mile walks most nights. We decided to start taking our pit with us, but he would always get incredibly thirsty, especially during the hotter nights. I just happened upon this bottle while surfing one day, and decided to order one. After getting, the next night we walked I filled this up with water and toted it along. It worked great opening it up and dumping water in the little bowl that pops out. The dog was very appreciative to have water on hand along the way. Wearing the bottle over your shoulder with the strap is a little bulky and awkward, but it is worth it to have water for the doggo.

This is a nifty water bottle for your pup on their walks. The drinking part folds over to form the whole bottle and the top twists open to provide a slow pour for your dog to drink from so as not to waste too much water. The water does not go back into the bottle when your dog is done though, so there is some waste if your dog does not finish all the water.The only down side I found is that the strap rides up on my shoulder and rubs on my neck if i wear it cross body or slides down my shoulder if i wear it just on my shoulder. If you try to lay the bottle flat on the ground for your dog to drink from like a bowl it will tilt as well as the handle part of the bottle is not flat and that is the portion that would rest on the ground.

I liked the amount of water that fit in the bottle. It seems strong enough even if I dropped it once or twice softer surfaces, not concrete. The water bowl portion is a great size--large and enough depth so that a large dog could get a good drink.I don't like how the water trickles out soooooo slowly. I had hoped that it had a feature too which would allow me to return unused water back into the bottle.Opening and closing the water disperser was easy to manage with my arthritis hands The carrying strap is narrow and not terribly comfortable when carrying the weight when the bottle is full.However, it is water. I can carry it. If I am patient, it is adequate to my needs. However, I am not always patient waiting for the water to dispense. I don't know if I can modify it myself to increase bowl filling speed.As it is, I will carry it full in my car in case of emergency need. We live in the desert and I like to have as much water in the car as possible, and water bottle that has a bowl attached is a good thing.
