Aouchi has to be the best name for heat resistant gloves ever. I really hope the name is on purpose. Because with these theres no more (a)ouchies when getting your wrists burned on grills or from molten metal falling from welds.This is my second set of Aouchi gloves, the first black short ones, and now these, tan long ones. I am going to use these for welding and swap my previous ones for grill use due to being shorter.I am 5"6 and of medium build and the small size fitted me perfectly, snug and dextrous.The heat resistance is perfect. Can easily weld thick tube and bar stock and still handle the material.Quality is very high, they are really well constructed and appear to use very good materials. I really rate these highly.

These 'AOUCHI Top-grain Leather Welding BBQ Fire Gloves, Fireproof Heat-Resistant Long Sleeve Mitts' are great quality and are very comfortable to wear.Though I ordered the incorrect size (I am a large), these just about fit onto my hands - though this makes it noticeable that the thumb and little finger are a bit longer than they would need to be. They are a great fit for my wife, however the thumb and little finger size is more noticeable on her.The leather feels to be of a really good quality and the stitching and manufacturing quality are really good. The length of the sleeves gives a good amount of protection along with the general thickness of the leather material. This will offer great protection for my wife when gardening and if she ever offers to help me when welding or grinding again!At a price of 14.99 these seem to be a great quality product for the money.

They're a reasonably snug fit, which means you have a good deal of dexterity.The leather is fairly thick too. It has a good texture to it that offers some grip.Overall they're actually really nice gloves for the money. I'd say they're more for heavier work purposes rather than welding, only because I haven't had reason to test them here with any welding equipment over the weekend. They look and feel like they'd be up to the task, but if you're welding you kind of want to know for sure they're suitable. The best I could manage at home today was with a soldering iron and they stood up well to that, but welding tends to be at a higher temperature.For the money though they're genuinely really nice gloves. You'd pay way more in a shop for them.

Absolutely outstanding - I use these in my kitchen only, and I seriously wonder why I did not buy them 20 years ago. Finally, dealing with things like a Sunday roast in a hot & hectic oven becomes a massive pleasure - love it!

Really well made tough gloves. I have been using these for protection whilst removing a lot of brambles. Yes if you grab a bramble too hard it is going to penetrate but in the main these have protected my nicely except when I got a bit complacent!
