I mostly pack these in my lunch box for work. They are lighter and more compact than standard utensils but without any real compromise in function. They would work for backpacking but are more suited to car camping.

I use these every day in the office. I was tired of using flimsy throwaway plastic cutlery. These are a great option for those who need a nice set of utensils for the office or camping.

This product deserves a review particularly due to the realm that it exists in. Although camping equipment in general is designed to be efficient and lightweight, there are some things where you just can’t skimp. I don’t know anybody who has actually used a Spork for the purpose of either a spoon or a fork. In those situations, light weight actually ends up just costing you wait because you were left with some thing that is pretty much unusable, or cumbersome. If you are looking for light weight, these are not the right utensils for you. I was looking for something that was not light weight because I hate the feeling of titanium or aluminum utensils in my mouth, and because I wanted some thing that felt like I could be using it on my dinner table. These definitely accomplished that goal. If you care more about the function of the utensils over lightweight, then these certainly are the right ones to buy. Not only are they aesthetically beautiful, but they feel like powerful and skillfully designed tools in your hands. That is what I want from a utensil. I can tell that these things are going to Outlast any of the other novelties that I have that are designed to make life easier but fail at both their function and their convenience
