This set of camping plates, bowls and mugs are very heavy gauge metal with a thick and luxuriously smooth enamel finish and rounded and gilt colored rims. These plates and bowls hold plenty of food and are great for campfire eating. They do conduct heat rapidly as do the coffee mugs so care should be used when eating and drinking hot foods and beverages from them. It is great to warm my hands on the sides of my coffee cup as I start my day. A perfect set of cabin dishes for that favorite getaway spot. These enamelware dishes are of an even higher quality than I expected and are built to last for years to come.

I try to minimize what cookware and eating where I use while camping, because I generally solo camp.I've never had a set of enameled camping dishes before, and this set exceeded my expectations!I love how heavy duty they are, I love the color. I love that I can eat a steak on it and not have to feel bad about using a knife.I love that I don't have to throw them in the fire when I'm done, and can use them for years.The only thing I would say that I didn't like or was surprised was there was some manufacturer defects in the pieces themselves. They have a couple bumps and ripples where I wouldn't have expected. That will not affect how I use them at all! This is a perfect set for me and again, they look great too. Recommend!!

I’m going to say upfront that I absolutely love this camp dish set. The contrasting colors and bronze rim accents look stunning, which is a word you don’t often associate with camping accessories. Construction quality is excellent although there are some rough edges, which is to be expected as these are designed for camping and not fine dining.The pieces are a bit on the heavy side lending to their stainless steel construction, and because of the weight penalty, these are probably not something you would take on a long hike. But for a weekend camping trip, these are perfect.
