This is a really cute teapot. Just be aware that is is SMALL. Only holds a smidge over 3 cups

Tea tastes better in this than microwaved once I learned how. Very pretty on my stove.

Firstly, this is a kettle which works beautifully for all its intended purposes. I love the artisan design and details. It's quite heavy, in a good way. But not too heavy for my 82yr old grandmother. It feels durable and the weight adds to its high quality. I do wish it were a bit larger in size and holding capacity. The handles get hot to the touch but unfortunately, because it's a kettle, you're not supposed to heat too high. This was an adjustment for me, as I typically BOIL the water and not simmer as expected when using kettles. I wish this was stated before my purchase, I perhaps would've reconsidered. However, I'm pleased with this one and have learned to adapt.

I was pleasantly surprised by the pot's quality and appearance. However, there are a few things to consider before making a purchase.First, it's important to note that this is a teapot, not a kettle. The description is a bit misleading. While it can be used on the stove to boil water, its primary function SHOULD BE to steep tea leaves. I would NOT recommend using it on the stove to boil water for a few reasons:1. The enamel coating - the composition of the enamel is not made available. It's worth noting that some enamel coatings may contain PTFE or PFASs. The instructions specifically talk about the importance of not using temperatures that are too high, etc. I would be weary of the enamel.2. Handle - The teapot itself is well-made and looks great. However, the handle can get very hot when used on the stove. If you are not prepared for this, you could easily burn your hand or the hand of an unsuspecting house guest.Also, to note when purchasing that the tea infuser doesn't reach the bottom of the pot, which can make steeping tea for one person a bit challenging.This is a good option for a teapot. However, it does have some limitations if used as a tea kettle.
