I have a small cat, 3.6 kg, so the neck diameter fits. The collar, however, is HUGE. I bought it to cover the upper back area but it doesn't work that way - the cat is stepping on it when she tries to walk. The texture of the collar catches claws, and the cat takes it off that way. It doesn't work to protect the upper back. When put to protect the head, it doesn't work to protect the head either, because the velcro doesn't have enough area so it's not strong enough to stay if the cat tries to take it off. The string that is used in the collar is unneccessarily thick, I had to replace it.
