I spoke to Apple and they said that this connector would work, however it was not fully stable and the screen was purple in colour, this may have been a compatibility problem with my old apple screen and the new mini mac but it didnt work so I have had to purchase a new screen and will see if I can send this connector back.

Funktioniert – aber ganzer Bildschirm nur in lila Farbe.Ziel war es zwei Appel-Bildschirm 1407 mit einem Mac mini M2 Pro UND einem 1316 Appel-Bildschirm zu verbinden – alle drei waren verbunden, nur der 1316 hat durch den Adapter in 100% lila geleuchtet, also muss da was verkehrt sein. Avevo un vecchio monitor LCD apple non compatibile con il nuovo mac mini m2.Più di un tecnico e anche all'apple store mi avevano detto che non esisteva un adattatore compatibile e invece ... et voilà: ESISTE, è questo e funziona! E mi ha consentito di non sostituire il monitor.
