I have a 17hh Thoroughbred (built like a. WB) and the Large is really too short on him. The fleece is also quite thin in comparison to my other quarter sheets. Decent for the price if you have a smaller horse.

I’ve been searching for a quarter sheet, or rump warmer, to use with my western saddle, and I finally found it! I took another reviewers advice and just attach it to the rear cinch dee, plus, a little hack so it doesn’t fall back too much, I added a clip (used the end of a leg strap sewn onto quarter sheet) and voila! Works like a charm and stays put for our entire ride. My girl is small, 14.3 hands, so it covers a good portion of her hind end. If your horse is bigger, it may not fall so far but I love it. Keeps her toasty on those chillier nights, and she looks quite stylish IMO. REALLY excellent quality too, for the price, much nicer than I thought. Another boarder just ordered one too, for her western horse. 😁🐴

This is one of those rare items that I actually felt like I received even better quality than I had expected. It is a nice weight, not too heavy but heavy enough to lay flat during normal workouts. The finished edges are very nice, and it even has a matching seam along the spine that helps give it weight and lay correctly with really pretty detail. For what I paid for it, I expected something either thin or super basic; I feel it looks as good as competitors that are charging twice as much. And just as an FYI, I am using it on an older working western show horse that we are trying to keep a show coat on, I just attach the straps to the flank cinch straps and it works great!
