Wow! This book was full of twists and turns! I feel like I have information overload with all the new secrets revealed and characters in this book but by the end your heart is breaking with that heart wrenching ending. As usual this author wrote an amazing story and left us desperately wanting more. I highly recommend reading this book!

I was dying to get answers and finally see where it was leading up to and the finale was so worth it, but holy crap was I on the edge of my seat!This was a great continuation from HOEAB, with an investigative storyline that kept me guessing. I think I audibly said, 'WTF??' at least 10 times. It felt like every hundred pages, there was a new surprise and an added layer of mystery. The storyline branched out with new characters and created more depth to the world, magic, lore, and overall plot. The action sequences were so well depicted and intense.It was super fun having side characters like Ithan and Tharion be more involved, along with Ruhn having more of an important role leading us to learn more about his character and magic. I love the way each character brings their own purpose to the group and mesh together so well for the story. The introduction of Celestina, Baxian, and Pollux added lots of tension and questions; their dynamics were always entertaining. Also, “Day”?! I’m still processing that revelation.Towards the end, my only concern was hoping that everything that was revealed in the end would be worth the 800 pages of information and investigating, and I was NOT disappointed. Also, I love how discoveries from Danika’s past link up with current events and they way the pieces came together. I honestly was just so immersed in the story and along for the ride!

Ich war bei Teil eins vor allem happy, dass die Protagonistin von SJM hier mal Mitte Zwanzig statt ein Teenie ist. Es dauerte ein wenig bis ich rein kam, aber als ich drin war, wollte ich immer weiterlesen und kam irgendwann zum Entschluss, dass es meine liebste SJM-Reihe bislang ist.Der Kniff im letzten Kapitel fand ich echt spannend und ich war selten so genervt, dass das nächste Buch erst nächstes Jahr rauskommt.

İngilizce kitaplara bu kadar kolay ve kısa sürede ulaşmak artık mümkün olduğu için çok mutluyum gerçekten. Tam bir hafta üzerine geldi. Tek tek saydım sayfalarda eksik yoktu. Şömizi biraz kenarlardan aşınmıştı sadece ama çok dert değil. Kitap devasa ama çok uyguna aldığımı düşünüyorum. Her şey dahil 415 lira verdim. Haziran 2023.

Was leider nicht gezeigt wird, ist dass das Seitencover horizontal und nicht vertikal verläuft, was leider sehr stört. Zurückschicken werde ich es zu Liebe der Umwelt trotzdem nicht, aber es würde helfen, wenn man in den Bildern der Beschreibung ebenfalls das Seitencover sehen würde.

Just.. no words. The ending and the last chapter was just.. wow. Read it multiple times after I realized what was going on. Absolutely loved it and no Idea how I'm supposed to wait a year for the next book. There were many new characters and you learned far more about the already existing characters and there are just so many story arcs at the same time and I loved all of it. It's a multi pov like throne of glass and in style with both ACOTAR and ToG. I also loved the little hints from differnt mythologys that appeared every now and then that felt kind of like Easter eggs, especially if you look into some of the names of the characters.

Best ending! Best ending ever! OMG I CANT WAIT FOR NEXT IT WILL BE TORTURE! I read that last bit for 6h straight... Actually forgot to eat dinner. It OMFG it was forth it. Jumping up and down on my bed trying not to scream as it's 2 in the morning here. Sarah J. Maas you are a GENIUS!!!!!!!!! I love you, and I hope your brain never stops coming up with these INSANE plots! (Although I would understand if they did, because this is EPIC, and... The brain power you must put into it. You are wonderful. I hope you never stop. Though when you die, after you've lived a long, wonderful and fulfilling life, please don't die with an unfinished book/series. My/our heart and brains and the very beings that make us us, could not take it! I'm still jumping! Thank you sooooo much!!!!!!!!!!
