Keeps hot lunch hot! Put hot water in it for 10 mins before you add your hot lunch to keep all the heat in. Dishwasher safe and the seal is silicone easily pops out for cleaning. Much appreciated

Una delusione. Dalle recensioni mi aspettavo un contenitore a tenuta termica notevole (parlavano di 9 ore) , invece non tiene il calore neanche 5 ore! Ho messo delle patate bollenti alle 7 e alle 12 erano appena appena tiepide. Non spenderò mai più così tanti soldi per un bidone del genere, considerato che ho dovuto pagare anche 5 euro di spedizione.

After years of daily use and abuse, the freezer gel container finally cracked beyond usability and had to be replaced. Well, those aren't made any longer. We needed a comparable cold-holding container. I searched and read reviews and compared pricing and, the Hydroflask insulated food jar 12oz size was the decision. Altho a lil pricey, it was a very good decision. It's not for freezer use so, after washing (I don't trust thermal in a dishwasher so, only hand washing) I pop in a couple few ice cubes and put it in the fridge. Those cubes are still mostly there come morning. Is that step needed? Probably not as the cubes are barely melted, but I just want it as cold as possible. Toss the cubes, scoop in some yogurt and fixings, put it in his lunchbox atop the regular ice packs we've always used and yaye! His yogurt stays cold when he gets to it up to 4, 5 or even 6hrs later. Plus, it's wide-mouthed, which makes for easier spooning out from the container. I'm sure the thermal capabilities are great for hot too but, if using pre-prepped foods, the comparison is this...Noosa yogurt is sold in a yummy 8oz size and Progresso soup is about 19oz. Anyway, it's all that and a cold mouthful of yogurt!

I was looking for something that could keep hot water and fit a baby bottle when we're on the go so that we can warm up a bottle. At first I tried to save money and buy a much less expensive Noname brand. Totally wasted my time and money. This hydro flask was perfect and kept water hot for the whole day. It'll also be great to use for food in the future! Totally worth it! Love that it's dishwasher safe!
