I ordered this to play with in the garden and it will do the job for that purpose but nothing really much more than that.It looks like a nice enough ball but has a strange patch on the leather which does detract from it. The main thing though is that the way the two sides have been glued together is pretty rough. It won't make too much of a difference for casual play but you couldn't give it as a gift, for example.

This cricket ball came securely packed inside its branded box (see photo). Overall this is of decent quality and the leather used appears to be durable too. However, the two halves joined together aren't glued that well. Also stitching is not the finest in my opinion. The ball does appear to be a bit smaller than usual but don't think it is a junior's ball. Have been using it for a while now and it does well for casual playing. The ball is also priced reasonably in my view (only £8 at the time of this review) and it is fairly cheaper than any standard cricket ball you can buy from retail shops. So it is worth it for some practicing and casual playing. Given the quality, I would rate it as 4 out of 5 stars.

The material's nice, the ball's got a good traditional heft to it.It's appropriately inexpensive for what it is.But the middle of the join is particularly pronounced - raised quite clear above the stitching. Most cricketballs I've seen have this join worn down considerably. Could easily cause some weird bounces and spins, and thus wouldn't be suitable for serious competitive play.

I saw someone else's review saying it's a senior ball and not a junior ball, but I received a junior ball. The ball is design right, value for money is good, quality is good but the only issue is that the seam attaching two sides sticks out quite a lot, so when you pitch the ball, it's going to deviate like crazy. I'm not Glen McGrath, but it looks like I can get seam movement just like him with this ball.

Not a cricket expert. But this ball works well in the garden for the kids to practice. Seems decent enough
