I bought this to prepare kynar gauge AWG30 for an amp I am building. this product is fantastic, the best I have ever used! once you have one of these, you will never worry about messing up the wire you are working on. goes from awg 22 up to awg30. I would give this product 10 Gold stars!

Ideal Industries is one of the pioneers of the T-Stripper concept and their products today still exhibit first class machining and tight tolerances. You will notice a difference between their strippers and the no names that cost a couple of bucks.Tools still are products that you typically get what you pay for.

There's nothing about this product that jumps out and says "Buy Me!". However, it has a unique characteristic. Few wire strippers will strip insulated 30 gauge wire wrap. This item will and it does it well. It takes a little practice as 30 gauge wire is pretty small and delicate. If you want an exact length of wire wrap for an alternative to soldering on a through hole project, this tool is the ticket. Recommended.
