This product works great. It grips to the floor and the pee pad grips to the tray. I don't even use the clips because the pad doesn't move. My old chihuahua has no problem stepping over the barely there lip that works excellent when she pees on the edge of the pad it keeps it in the tray. She uses her pee pad more now than ever because it's not slippery at all compared to hard floors. Her 22x23 pee pads fit just fine.

This rubber mat has been a huge life saver. My puppy would pee past the pee pad and I was constantly having to mop my floor. This pad has kept my floor free of urine. We even take it with us when she gets groomed so the groomer has a place to put her to pee. Worth every penny. It's easy to clean and there is zero smell. Fits perfect in our little home.

I love the silicone pad as it keeps the potty pads in place and protects our wood floors if our puppy potties too close to the edge. The clips that come with it are handy, but I don’t recommend using them with an active puppy. Our 2.5 lb miniature dachshund puppy just pounced on it and broke it. I thought it was a fluke so tried them again. The second time the same thing happened but more pieces broke off. (See photo.) Fortunately I saw it happen and saved my puppy from ingesting the sharp pieces.

It does not fit smaller then 23 x 23. The clips are attractive to the pup. It didn’t work for me.

This product is a life Saver! I got it for my senior cat who now still wants to use the litter box but always miss due to his old age. So he ll pee half in the box and half around it or go to the box and can't get in at all for whatever reason. I put this pad holder lined with pee pads under the litter box to catch pee when he misses.Before getting this pee pad holder and pee pads, I spent close to 40 to 60 min daily cleaning the mess and my bathroom floor was starting to patch as urine damaged it no matter how fast I got to it as it will sit under the box and I couldn't see it.I love this pad holder too as it has clips and you can line it with pee pads and the clips hold the pads on each corner so the pet is not tripping on it or crumbling the pad coming in and out.The pad holder itself is rubber but do have edges so very easy to fold and clean in a bathtub or outside with a hose. Love Love love it !
