The listing says they stretch. They don't. I also says they form an airtight seal. Again, not true. However they are perfectly usable. They cover bowls in the fridge and stop them from drying out or absorbing smells from other things - though I don't really have this problem now that things are covered. Listings for items like this usually make claims like these or say the have a vaccuum seal. I can't imagine why. They work perfectly well without the untrue claims. If this seller hadn't made false statements, I would have given them 5 stars.

I purchased these as I needed a replacement lid to use in the microwave as my solid slotted one was split. I actually didn't think these would be that good but after the first use I found that it cut down on all the steam in the microwave and the food didn't spit all over the inside of the microwave. Just remember to stop and stir before you normally would, ie; with canned soup I stir after 1 minute instead of 2. They clean up well and also double up in use as a lid for when you have a jug of gravy to keep hot etc. Supplied in 3 different sizes which is really handy.
