At first glance I thought this case was going to be too small, but the layout is very good. If you have a DJI Neo fly more kit with the hand controller, this case is perfect for that. It also has compartments for extra cables or battery charger etc. The fit of the drone and other items is also very good. I have seen some cases where you have to shove the drone in and it's hard to get it back out, but this case is snug enough to hold the drone, but so much you can't get it back out easily. It is also very sturdy unlike other I have seen where the plastic is thin and easy bent, this case is very ridged and well built. As an amazon vine reviewer I always give honest feedback on items I receive, and sometimes gig items pretty hard. I am not usually very impressed by most vine items, but this is one that stands out. You won't be disappointed.

Full disclosure - I do not own the drone this case is cut for. I ordered it so I could pull the insert out and have a small general use case, so this review doesn't cover how it works with the drone - just general build quality, etc.Overall, this is a good case. It would work well for small, pricey items you want to save from breakage. Another good use would be as a pistol case - it would fit one and some accessories very nicely with some additional foam added.Build quality is good - it has fairly thick plastic and feels solid. I've stood on it (180lb) and it does not give at all. The latches are very solid and fasten tightly. The handle is a low point - it's on a simple, loose hinge so it doesn't lock into the closed position to stay out of the way.The precut insert for the drone looks well made and neatly cut. It lifts out with no effort and is not glued down. There's a thin piece of foam that you can use to line the bottom without the insert in it and there is a mesh pocket inside the lid.There are lock holes on the outside corners, but no metal surrounding them so you only have the thickness of the plastic to hold a lock.There is a seal of sorts on the lid....there's a raised area on the lower case that fits into a groove in the upper case. The groove has rubber inside it so it will make somesort of a seal when closed. I doubt it would be fully waterproof, but it's something.There is also a pressure valve behind the handle for some reason.My biggest gripe is that the back of the case is not well balanced...meaning when you turn it up and set it upright, it's not balanced well. It'll fall over due to how the plastic is molded. Not a huge deal, but would have been easy to prevent.

This is a really excellent, well-thought-out case that offers excellent protection for all but the most demanding applications where the expense of a Pelican would be justified. The integrated mesh pocket mounted in the lid is a thoughtful addition. The full-length hinges, excellent hardness and rigidity, decent waterproofing and robust latches demonstrate this is a case that is designed to be serious about heavy-duty protection. Everything fits in the provided insert as shown, which can also be removed if you have another purpose in mind. I've seen a lot of these cases recently thru the VIne program, but this one is among the best at an absolutely killer price point. You just can't go wrong with this case. Highly recommended.

The great thing about the DJI Neo drone is that it’s so small, you can pack it up and take it anywhere. But just because it’s small and portable doesn’t mean that it’s indestructible - if you’re going to take it everywhere, you still want to protect it. This hard shell case provides super strong protection for not only your Neo, but also the entire kit as there’s space for multiple batteries, the three battery charger and the (optional) remote control. The dense but soft foam on the inside cradles your devices to provide protection from bumps and drops while the strong, hard plastic shell backs it up and protects from the other dangers of being carried around.The case is well-built and should provide strong protection for many years to come. It provides good protection without being too bulky so you can still take the Neo with you wherever you go. The handle on the side makes it easy to carry the case around (like a briefcase) or there’s an included shoulder strap as well and there’s a loop for a small lock (the sort that would work on a pelican case) if you want to secure it a bit.So if you’re in the market for a way to protect your DJI Neo when you take it around with you, this case will certainly do just that.
