This anchor is relatively small and easy to carry with its removable handle, yet it effortlessly screws into the sand and is hard to pull out of even dry sand! It is light enough to pack when you go out for a little sand and surf and makes a great anchor for an umbrella or shelter even in strong wind! I use it with my CoolCabana Beach Shade Tent and it holds it solidly. It can be screwed down flush to the ground and the eye makes it easy to tie off a rope.Much better than the samurai anchor I used last year (think sharp, heavy, 4' sword!)! It held slightly better but was large, heavy, and dangerous around kids!This one is easy to pack and almost impossible to step on if you screw it in near the base of your umbrella.

I used this to anchor my awning at the sand dunes. Regular stakes don't hold well, especially with any wind. It went in without too much effort. You need to apply pressure down to keep it biting. It held well, even when we got some wind one night. When it was time to go home, I tried to pull it straight out. I didn't budge! I had to unscrew it. The only thing that would make it better is if there was an adapter so I could use my cordless 1/2" impact to drive it in.

If you own a Jet Ski you NEED one of these, a 17-inch stainless sand anchor. Very well made. Just attach handle and screw it in the sand. Will hold most jet skis under normal conditions.It comes with a nice nylon carry case. Its priced fair and very durable.

I got this sand anchor to help stabilize my dock when the boat is pulling on windy days. Season is over here so I have not screwed it into the lake bed yet but I'm confident it will do the job. The anchor is heavy duty, good quality stainless and the screw is attached with continuous smooth welds. The tip has a good point and there's a protective tip cover (not shown in product pictures) to prevent accidental stabbing. The handle is also solid with a good grip cover and screws together through the hole at the top of the anchor nicely. The carabiner is probably more than adequate but doesn't appear as solid and heavy duty as the rest of the anchor. Comes with a storage bag.

These will last a lifetime. Maybe not the bag that is stores in, as other reviewers have said, but these are solid and sturdy and the welding at the top is good. I'm fussy. I want products that last.My kayaks are packed away for the season, so I tested this on hard pan in my yard. You insert the two piece handle and thread if together and twist. Easy. And it surprised me by how comfortable it was to turn and dig down deep. Much more comfortable than my beach umbrella!I went for the smallest size for easier portability and I'm glad I did. I'm happy with how deep it goes. I just wanted this for kayaks and small fishing boats. I'll have no hesitation using it with them.
