Der Webrahmen hier funktioniert, und die Anleitung ist recht gut, wenn man sich nicht daran stört, dass sie ausschließlich auf Englisch ist. Weniger schön ist die Tatsache, dass nicht einmal genug Bänder mitgeliefert werden, um einen Topflappen mit weniger als drei Farben fertigzustellen (es gibt je 12 Bänder in 8 Farben, aber der Rahmen hat pro Seite 18 Haken). Darüber hinaus warnt die Anleitung deutlich davor, die Topflappen bestimmungsgemäß zu verwenden, denn der Stoff ist nicht hitzebeständig.Jetzt mal im Ernst, das ist doch ein völliger Stuss, ganz unabhängig davon, dass die Verpackung und die Produktseite hier sich völlig uneins sind, wie viel Material nun mitgeliefert wurde. (Auf der Schachtel steht 90 Bänder, enthalten sind 96, und im kopierten Bild werden gar 224 versprochen.) Pro Topflappen braucht man 36 Bänder, somit sind nicht einmal genug für 3 Topflappen enthalten, während die Packung immerhin 5 verspricht.Hier wird man also gezwungen, innerhalb kürzester Zeit Material nachzukaufen. Mit dem mitgelieferten Material alleine kommt man auf einen Preis von 10€ pro unbenutzbarem Plastik-Topflappen, und das kann wohl schwerlich gerechtfertigt sein.

Ich habe diesen Artikel zum Testen kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen und bewerte den Artikel nach meiner subjektiven Wahrnehmung.Der Webrahmen an sich ist in Ordnung, und es macht Spaß damit Topflappen herzustellen.Die Seile sind jedoch aus einem Kunstfaser, so dass die gefertigten Topflappen nicht hitzebeständig sind. Das steht zwar dabei, aber Sinn eines Topflappens ist nunmal, dass man heiße Topfgriffe damit anpacken soll.Man kann aus den Seilen natürlich auch Tassenuntersetzer basteln, oder gar eine Tasche wenn man 2 Lappen zusammennäht; dafür ist es wiederum egal dass die Seile aus Kunstfaser sind.In Summe ein schönes Komplettset wenn man sofort losbasteln möchte, man sollte sich nur klar sein dass die Topflappen vorsichtig zu verwenden sind, und dass man schnell Material nachkaufen muss; man kann nur 2 vollständige Topflappen weben, danach reichen die Seile nicht mehr.

This is a really nice craft toy that can be used by children or adults. Whilst it was ordered with children in mind it is currently my wife who is enjoying it.Everything is safe for young children to use though they may need little adult supervision. The instructions are clear and you get a decent supply of materials to start you off. Best of all you end up with something that is both nice and useful. This has proved to be great fun and well worth the money.

The Weaving Loom Kit has been such a wonderful activity for our family! My 5-year-old daughter and I spent an afternoon working on it together, and we all had so much fun. The weaving frame is sturdy and easy to use, which made it perfect for her little hands. The step-by-step instructions were simple to follow, even for beginners like us, so it was easy to dive right in.The bright rainbow colors of the weaving loops made the projects extra fun and visually exciting. We ended up making a couple of insulation pads and started a coin purse, and my daughter was so proud of what she created. It’s such a great way to spark creativity while also helping kids improve their fine motor skills and coordination.This kit would make a fantastic gift for anyone who loves arts and crafts. It’s educational, fun, and such a great bonding activity. We can’t wait to use it again and try new projects. Highly recommend it!

Although I never made this type of loop-woven potholder as a child, they still hold a lot of nostalgia for me as I grew up using ones my older siblings had made. I was thrilled to rediscover this craft recently and this kit contains everything you need to get started, though there are a few issues worth noting. The first is the rather prominent printing at the top of the instructions stating that any potholders made with this kit should not be exposed to heat and are for decorative purposes only (I don’t know about you, but I just love to festoon my kitchen with decorative potholders!). Not sure whether this is because we didn’t worry about fire safety back in the 70s or because these days the loops are made of cheaper, more flammable material, but do bear this in mind if you were intending to treat these as functional. The second thing is that although the selection of coloured loops looks cheery and extensive at first glance, it is only enough to make 5 potholders. And you are only supplied with around 12 of each colour, which means you cannot even copy most of the pattern designs shown in the instructions as you will just not have enough of each single colour. So whatever you do make will likely end up as a random mishmash. Otherwise, this is a really simple and satisfying craft that yields quick results, but the current price of £15.99 seems a bit high for the quantity of materials included.

This weaving loom kit is such a nice hobby and crafting task. It can be used by children Ages 6/7 with adult supervision or older children and adults. I love the variety of colours and objects you can make in this set. The materials thread quite easily and make some lovely creations. Such a nice gift to recieve.

I thought this would make a lovely little addition to some one’s birthday present but Wow it far exceeded my expectations. It’s a good sized kit, colourful well presented and packaged. The loom is very robust and can be used time and time again. The instructions are very simple and clear. There are no sharp parts so very safe for youngsters to use. The yarn is enough for the four projects and to give a good idea for future projects with scraps of yarn. A really great product.
