If you already know how to needle punch, this kit is great because it includes everything you need to make 2 coasters.But I was hoping to use this kit to learn how to needle punch and it just doesn't cut it. It comes with a single piece of paper with a verbal and visul explanation how to needle punch. But it is a poor translation from a Chinese language so it makes no sense. There is a QR code for videos, which are video only, set to music with no verbal description. For complete beginners to a needlecraft, I find that videos with both a slow video AND clear verbal instructions to accompany them are required for a complete beginner to pick up a new craft. This one just isn't adequate.Because I will have to seek instructions elsewhere, I am not able to say much more about this kit. But I can say that it does seem to have everything you will need - a plastic embroidery hoop, cloth with the printed design, stabilizer cut to the size of the hoop, yarn in a number of colours, a punch needle, and a tapestry needle.

This kit is perfect for beginners and/or intermediate users of Crotchet. You can easily follow the instructions to make both coasters. The materials are made of good quality and the actual coasters are so decorative to use.

Fun starter kit for me (an adult, who needs to keep my hands busy in the evening and flicks between hobbies constantly so needs one with low start up cost). Probably wouldn’t reccomend for children as takes some learning and I had to use several YouTube videos to help as the instructions weren’t the clearest.

In diesem Stickset ist fast alles enthalten, was man für das Punchen braucht, nur eine verständliche Anleitung fehlt.Eine solche Anleitung hätte ich als Anfänger dringend gebraucht.Es sind zwei niedliche Stickmotive enthalten, die auf Stramin gedruckt sind. Der Stoff ist relativ weich, so dass er beim Einspannen in den Rahmen leicht ausfranst, s. Foto.Der Stickrahmen ist in Ordnung, er ist aus Plastik, lässt sich mittels Schraube aber gut festdrehen.Die Punchnadel liegt gut in der Hand, und mit Hilfe des Einfädlers aus Draht lässt sich das Garn prima in die Nadel einführen.Das Garn liegt in allen benötigten Farben in ausreichender Menge vor.Das ist alles funktionell, aber nun noch einmal zurück zur Anleitung. Diese besteht aus einem zerknautschten Stück Papier, auf dem einige Skizzen und ein kurzer Anleitungstext in schlechtem Englisch zu finden sind. Gemäß dieser Anleitung habe ich das Punchen zunächst probiert, das Ergebnis war schlimm, s. mein vorletztes Foto.Alsdann habe ich im Internet nach einer genauen Anleitung gesucht und eine Videoanleitung gefunden, die mir sehr geholfen hat. Das Ergebnis war dann deutlich besser, s. letztes Foto, aber ich bin immer noch in der Übungsphase, denn Punchen ist nicht so einfach.Ich ziehe hier zwei Sternchen ab, denn wenn das Set für Anfänger deklariert ist, muss eine detaillierte und umsetzbare Anleitung beiliegen.
