Eine schöne Brille und scheint stabil - leider fehlte in der Beschreibung die Angabe Kat. 4 - somit im Straßenverkehr nicht nutzbar

Ho regalato questi occhiali per il compleanno di mio padre, visto che spesso va in montagna a camminare d'estate e ciaspolare nel periodo estivo, e volevo un modello adatto per il sole e per il vento laterale.Ho optato per questo modello in quanto hanno un design più moderno rispetto ai classici tondi con protezioni in pelle, che a mio papà non piacciono molto. Dovendo sostituire i suoi attuali occhiali da sole classici, ho approfittato per fargli il regalo ideale.Il modello ha una montatura ovale con lenti adatte a giornate molto luminose, con protezione uv elevata, indicate soprattutto sulla neve vista la rifrazione che esercita (molto dannosa per i nostri occhi). Ai lati sono anche presenti delle alette protettive per impedire al vento (e anche alla luce riflessa), spesso presente e fastidioso in alta quota, di arrivare agli occhi quando arriva lateralmente, talvolta trasportando neve, che impedisce di avanzare agevolmente. Non sono però molto evidenti rendendo il modello piacevole anche nell'utilizzo quotidiano.Le astine sono ben fatte, hanno una curvatura ben studiata e sono comode da indossare, assieme al peso ridotto degli occhiali, così da non sentirli quasi anche dopo ore di camminata.Li ho provati io stessi e mi sono piaciuti molto, li avrei acquistati anche io non avessi già avuto un altro modello altrettanto valido ma leggermente scomodo per le lunghe durate.Il regalo è stato particolarmente apprezzato, per cui mi sento di consigliarli, sia per il design che per la comodità. Non devono per forza essere dedicati alla montagna, anche se hanno caratteristiche molto utili in quell'ambiente. Il costo è nella media, io ho approfittato di un piccolo sconto che li rendeva una buona occasione dal rapporto prezzo/qualità ottimo.

Finally! A pair of mountaineering sunglasses that are flattering to a woman’s face! I’ve tried so many different brands and styles and they always look like I’m wearing men’s glasses- either too big, bulky, or weirdly masculine looking. This style fits perfect, and is also functional! They fit under a hat and climbing helmet comfortably. I also like that the arms are a single piece (without a seam that pulls hair out of braids/ponytails). I own both the red Spectron 3 and the silver spectron 4 and both work great for different purposes. I use the Spectron 3’s for hiking on overcast days or in the woods, and the Spectron 4’s for high altitude sunny days above tree line or on snow. I’ve even bought multiple pairs as backups in case Julbo discontinues these. They’re quite durable, despite being ultra light, and the price is extremely reasonable compared to other glacier glasses. I just wish that they offered one with blue reflective lenses.

I used this glasses couple of times only. During my last use, I simply dropped the glasses and the frame is totally broken as seen in the pictures. This is not normal for a Julbo Sunglasses. I have still been using a Julbo Shield(Also Bought from Amazon.de) and used it in the most abusive ways possible. I dropped Julbo Shield maybe 10 times and never had an issue like that. Moreover I used a Julbo Nomad for at least 5 years in the past and never experience such issues at all. I tried to file a warranty complaint but it is not available on amazon.de for this specific purchase. I also checked Julbo's official web page and warranty form is not working. What a shame!!!!

Die Gläser sind gut, die seitliche Abschirmung auch. Einzig die Haptik mutet recht billig an (knarzendes Hartplastik). Haben die Brille dennoch behalten.

Entgegen der Produktbeschreibung hier hat die Brille keine Gläser der Kategorie 4, sondern nur der Kategorie 3. Die Brille ist in dieser Ausführung und Farbe gar nicht mit Gläsern der Kategorie 4 erhältlich. Dies ist irreführend. Brille ging daher umgehend zurück. Der Sachverhalt wurde von mir gemeldet, aber bisher wurde die Produktbeschreibung nicht angepasst. Hoffentlich fallen nicht noch mehr Käufer darauf herein.

Used for trekking in Peru’s mountains in cold weather. Didn’t have a problem with the lenses fogging up. If they fogged up (which only happened a couple times out of the whole week trekking), I would just rearrange the position of the glasses a little, and problem solved. The wide lenses offer great coverage, even without the side shields. They feel a bit flimsy but are quite durable (I dropped them several times). The lenses didn’t scratch either. They were comfortable enough to wear for hours on end, and I didn’t feel like my head was being squeezed either.
