Great loupe from a good manufacturer with a few decent extras, like a leather carrying case for protection, and LED lights to illuminate your object of interest. Be sure you need a 30X, I think the 10x is a better general purpose loupe. But at the price I bought both 10x and 30X.

Eine wirklich gute Lupe, sie ist sehr praktisch mit der UV- und LED-Lampe welche integriert ist. Man sollte beim zuklappen aufpassen, dass sie auch aus ist und bleibt. Die Batterien halten nicht besonders lange. Finde sie dennoch hervorragend.

Optically the loupe looks good. There is much less distortion than with a regular magnifying glass. It might not be perfect but it's certainly useful.The white LEDs are really handy. They illuminate the object nicely.The ultraviolet LEDs are bad. It's like violet light with just a hint of UV. You can't see UV effects of stamps or euro banknotes, for example. It does illuminate white clothes and even some effects of some banknotes, but not all. The UV light is either weak or wrong wavelength. Should you wish to see UV effects, you need to get another UV lamp to use with the loupe.Lens diameter is 18mm on the top and 15mm below. Not 21mm as in the description and photos.Changing the battery is a bit clumsy but workable. There's a special key in the product box for opening the battery compartment.3 stars because this is not a UV loupe and it's not 10x21mm either.

Feels like a quality bit of kit. Nicely packaged so would make a lovely gift for start. Opening it up, it feels weighty and robust. The light switch is a positive click in each position. The lens takes a decent push to get it out of its protection and it just feels like 20 quids worth; nothing light-weight or flimsy. The lens is clear and with much less fade than my old cheapy loupe I picked up at an antique fayre for a couple of quid.It has a 'leather' case too.Something not many mention, but a real bug-bear for me, the hanging loop on this IS big enough for a small split ring to hang it from; a must if you're in the field or trapesing round antiques all day.Highly recommended. Oh yeah, it magnifies stuff too.

The product is good with LED and UV lights.Magnifying is also great, you can see the details the smallest details. I can recommend it.

Hier wird nicht gelogen, was die Vergrößerung anbelangt, wie bei vielen Exemplaren ähnlicher Bauart die irgendwas von 60fach versprechen. Die Lupe ist aplanatisch und somit scharf bis zum Rand. Die LED Lampe ist super. Einziger Abzug: die UV LED hat keine gute Qualität. Es ist sogar schwer zu sagen, ob sie überhaupt UV ist.
