These were fun, but I wish they had a little more glide. I think a little learner can use all the support they can get a feel for the movements and the drag only increases the challenge. I would have opted for a ski that was more representative of Nordic skiing if it existed, but I couldn’t find anything sized for a preschool kid. Nevertheless, we were entertained. The binding would benefit from a solution to the long length of strap left over after tightening on to boot. For small feet, this excess became a tripping hazard and was not always easy to tuck away under some other piece of clothing.

I bought the skies for my granddaughter age 4. She caught right on but she did cross the skies like many of us do.

I think they are overpriced for the quality of materials.

My 18 month old loves them. He scoots around the yard on them no problem. Even without wax on them, the snow doesnt stick to the bottoms. Seems to be a quality ski and bindings are easily removed if they ever need to be replaced or adjusted. I looked at other brands that made models for small children and toddlers but this seemed to be the best choice.
