After the price of Kalitas soared, I tried these budget filters. They are thinner, making them a little hard to separate, and about 1/4 inch shorter than the Kalitas. But they work just as well and the flow is quick. Being shorter, sometimes the coffee backs up over the filter if you pour too quickly. But a good value and good enough for me.

The size is perfect for the Kalita 185 (stainless). They are sturdy and hold up well after the initial wetting/rinsing. I think that is a good value for the quality and quantity. The one issue I have is that the filters are packed in and I have trouble removing just one.

That’s not good at all, thinner and can’t support form itself, it’s terrible to use, put a litter water in it and it’s lost it forms. Fragile and deforms easily. They say “fast” that’s will be good but it’s just “fast” coz is fragile.

These paper filters are very thin, but functional. They come in large quantities so no need to reorder so often.
