OK for the price, but you need to press it quite close to the eye to stop stray light from entering. Does not interfere with the operation of the flip monitor screen on the Zf.

I have used this eycap for a few months now, it is a perfect mach for the Z8 (and the Z9, I use both). It gives a good distance for the eye, it is flexible but it retains its form and, most importnaly, it does not fall off when pushed a little.

Sehr funktionelles und wertiges Produkt, besser als vergleichbare. Obwohl aus UK versendet, war das Teil problemlos und schneller da, als angekündigt.

If you wear glasses, or shoot in bright sidelight, this eyecup is a fantastic replacement for the inadequate Nikon original. Its a solid item that gives great shading, and easily folds away when not needed. Highly recommended, but it has a flaw. The rubber surround does not fit tightly enough to the mounting ring and is easily knocked off. Hence, this is my second order as the first was lost after brushing lightly against my coat. This time, I'm going to glue the rubber cup to the mounting ring. For its utility and function, it deserves a 5-star rating. But because of its vulnerability, I've docked it one star.

This is what I have been looking for. I had one on my d700 before and it worked like a dream! It fits perfectly on the Z8 and is foldable ! It does not interfere w the LCD display. Happy purchase :)
