I have used several of the Keoker clay sets before, as well as their texture mats. This set for me is just not a winner. What I likedAs usual their designs are very cute and their ideas are adorable. The case they come in is great for storage and organizing. Some of these also come with the horizontally flipped design so you actually get a nice pair instead of two things facing the same way, like the birds. I love that. The issuesThis set just seems like it's lower quality to me. The clay sticks more to this set than the previous sets, even if I'm using cornstarch. These cutters have very inconsistent depths for the designs. So for example the tulips look great, the depth of the inset design is perfect. The bees however, look absurd. Some of the details are nice and delicate, like the wings. The rest of the bee, the body and head, are so weird looking. They're heavy handed and don't look like the bee cut out in the listing photos. The head or bottom body line almost always tear off when you lift the cutter, again even if you use cornstarch. I don't know why that one is so bad but it's probably the worst one in the pack and I can't use it because of that. For the first time ever using a Keoker clay cutter I had one break mid use on me. I wasn't even pressing hard, it just cracked right up the side. I was able to glue it back together and still use it but that was a huge surprise to me because I've been using this brand for quite a while now and have never had that happen.I'm honestly a bit surprised to see so many people singing the praises of this set of cutters when I know Keoker can and has done so much better in the past. For the price (20.02 at the time of review), I personally wouldn't get this set again. There are so many more Keoker sets that have good designs with a better quality to them.

I have to be honest and say I was a bit disappointed. I had read very good things about this company so I was surprised that these were more plasticy than I anticipated. Also one was cracked but luckily it is not one I was planning to use much (watering can). And it's still usable despite the crack. So I used some premium polymer clay, and made sure it was not too soft when I rolled it out. I also checked that it was not too thick. However, I had a really hard time removing the clay from the shapes. I tried gently pushing it from the other side, but that's hard to do without ruining the form. I tried again with a thinner layer of clay without pushing too much and this worked better, but I had to cut around the shape with an xacto.I find that it's best to roll the clay flat, and leave it to naturally lose the heat caused by my hands. This worked best even though it's a bit annoying. These are nice designs, and work if the clay is the correct consistency, but not quite what I expected.

Very cute and unique clay cutters. I appreciate the inclusion of mirrored designs for earrings, as well as unique details. These are perfectly sized and cut cleanly.

My wife says: In my experience Keoker products meet a uniformly high standard and these Spring cutters are no exception. They are well described in the listing. I generally use regular cone 5/6 wet clay. Like with all small cutters you need to use plastic wrap to demold wet clay. Many cutters with internal detail intended for polymer clay are not optimal for wet clay because the depth of the detail on the thicker wet clay tends to weaken the pieces. This problem can be overcome either by slightly 'smushing' the pieces together after demolding or by not cutting all the way through the wet clay and cleaning up the edges. With this set the only cutter that didn't work well with wet clay was the butterfly in the open circle because wet clay deforms more than polymer clay and I couldn't keep a good circle. However this cutter could still be used as a stamp. I also noticed that because of the fine detail on the bee the plastic wrap tended to compress the clay so the bees turned out a little thinner than the rest. Initially I didn't think the little birds would work but surprisingly they turned out fine and may actually be my favorites. So I am happy with this set and expect they will get a lot of use.

I love Keoker products and I would say most of these are up to the standard I'm used to for their products. For the most part they cut well and look great. The butterfly in the circle and the bee are my only two concerns. The bee has an odd look once cut and it's the first Keoker product I've received that doesn't cut smoothly or well. I had a lot of clay sticking, even with corn starch added in, and the cut out sections just...look weird. There are indentations I don't quite understand or see when looking at their reference photos so I tried using a variety of thicknesses of clay to see if the error was on my end but I just couldn't figure out a way to not make it look odd. The butterfly shape mostly cuts well but it does leave a bit of a cut mark on the top side of the clay I had to smooth out each time. The shape was also difficult to remove without distorting the image even when using cornstarch, because it sticks in the top a little. Overall this is a great set and the other cutters are fantastic and what I'd expect from their products. Those two just aren't quite up to their typical standards although they're still very much usable.
