Sehr kleines Packmaß und leicht. Aufblasen mit dem Luftsack, der auch die Tasche ist, geht sehr gut und einfach. Das Boot ist sehr wendig, d.h. gerade aus fahren auf einem See erfordert viel gegensteuern. Überraschend hoch ist die Tragfähigkeit die locker mit den Daten des Herstellers übereinstimmen.

I borrowed one of these to take to Nepal. It makes it easy to get on the water anywhere, and surprisingly quick to inflate (5 mins). I weigh 90kg and have good balance so can get in without getting (too) wet! Expect to get a wet bum though, especially if heavier. Excellent for exploring lakes in slow leasurly fashion.I recently purchased my own to take on adventures where my kayaks/ paddle boards/ canoes can't go. I was initially concerned about a massive kink in boat (as others have mentioned). I contacted my mate who assured me this goes away with time. Mine hasn't after 5 or 6 uses, however it goes when raft in use so I'm not worried about it.Any water craft is a compromise between weight, stability, speed etc. This would be no fun at all if paddling with people in rigid canoes or kayaks as it's very slow. It is a useful tool for a specific job- packrafting on calm lakes/ canals/ rivers. I would insist on using with a bwoyancy aid unless you have the experience to make that call for yourself (I have been paddling for 25 years plus so know my limitations).I have carried my small dog on my raft which worked fine. I have also taken my Brompton (folding bike) on a trip which worked pretty well, although paddling was a bit cumbersome.If you have no boat at all, owning a raft like this will be game-changing as it will allow you to go where you can't reach on foot. If like me you have many many boats, this is a fun tool to get on the water when other craft are too heavy or access does not allow.It is not a "proper" boat, nor is it simply a pool toy. It's a compromise between weight and durability - my mate who is heavier than me would destroy it in minutes. With care however, it should last me a long time.Remember - people die of hypothermia in large lakes every year, usually when it seems sunny and warm but the water temperature is still very cold. As this is a single chamber craft if it got a leak you would sink. You need to factor in getting a paddle that splits into 4 and a packable bwoyancy aid before getting carried away with the price of one of these.In summary, great fun and easy to pack away, with obvious limitations.

Das Packraft ist perfekt für Touren z. B. zu einem Bergesee oder einem ruhigen Fluss, bei denen der Fokus auf der Wanderung liegt.Positiv:- geringes Gewicht (perfekt für eine Person)- Schnell aufzupumpen mit mitgeliefertem Drybag und schnelles Luftablassen- Kleines Packmaß- für das Gewicht robust- bequemer Sitz- geringer Tiefgang- gute Verarbeitung der Nähte und mitgeliefertes FlicksetNegativ:- dreht sich beim Paddeln recht leicht im Kreis- Stoff dehnt sich bei der ersten Benutzung etwas, weshalb man nachpumpen muss, aber das gibt sich- Nur für ruhige Gewässer- Vorsicht bei scharfen Steinen (wie bei jedem anderen Schlauchboot auch)Zu erwähnen ist noch, dass es zu Lieferproblemen kam und ich über Amazon eine erneute Bestellung aufgeben musste. Danke nochmal an den Kundenservice, den Differenzbetrag zu erstatten, da sich der Preis erhöht hatte.

Ovvio non è un kayak professionale, da usare in acque ferme anche se al mare ci fai surf sulle onde come un materassino,a cui si avvicina, pagaiare piano tanto non prende velocità,e non và dritto,usare pagaie dritte che fendono l'acqua,non quelle concave,possibilmente quelle che si dividono in quattro sono più portabili. Il suo must ?Pensate di andare al lago fiume o mare in bicicletta con uno zaino e poter entrare in acqua,oppure attraversare un lago o fiume dopo un trek a piedi, impagabile.Usare sempre un vest aiuto al nuoto è robusto ma sottile ,pietre aguzze o mitili sono sempre in agguato mai abbassare la guardia sulla sicurezza,che dire io lo ho pagato sui 170 euro sopra i 200 mi sembra eccessivo perchè è un pò troppo ...come dire giocattoloso prendetelo come tale e vi divertirete se siete sportivi con la S maiuscola rivolgetevi ad altro la piega col tempo e con voi dentro si annulla,gonfiate prima il sedile con la bocca ,buon divertimento Modifico la mia recensione, dopo la quinta volta che lo ho gonfiato si e dissaldata la termosaldatura intorno al cosidetto seggiolino ,sgonfiando il tutto e rendendolo inutilizzabile ci sono rimasto malissimo io della KLymit ho comprato 2 cuscini ,e 2 materassini static V e dopo 8 anni di uso in tutte le situazioni ho ancora un materassino quindi articoli durevoli. MI aspettavo di più dalla Klymit sarò stato sfortunato? Consiglio di usare dopo quanto mi è successo dispositivi di sicurezza tipo Vest aiuto al nuoto se mi accadeva al largo nel lago dove ero erano guai

I think this thing is great, although you will get wet using it. It works fine, and is super lightweight and small (like the size of a purse). I put my son in it while we rafted the Merced, although it does not track well and will spin in a circle, it works. Its tough and blows away any pool toy so for rivers and lakes its well worth it. After blowing it up, once you put it in the water it deflates quite a bit (prpobably due to the cold water), so stopping 5 -10 minutes later to blow more air into it is advisable, but you only need to do that one time. I pulled my son behind our boat and floats like a leaf on the water so it was very easy and kept us free of his continual splashing and thrashing around.

I really like how small this packs down. I am not much of a water person so my experience with watercraft is minimal at best. But I felt that this was good enough for what I need/want it for. Some reviews say that this blows up and looks slightly weird, saying that the product is defective or is of poor quality. I am wondering if they used it in the water? The craft forms normally once you sit in it in water...and off you go!I have zero issues with the Klymit LWD. In fact, I have taken it out on Lake Superior's busy waves, from the shore of Finlay Bay out to the mouth of Lake Superior. I feel comfortable enough to know the crafts' limits. I'll be ordering a second one for when my wife or daughters want to come out as they all enjoy using it too.

Update: This raft is still going strong but I’m never very comfortable in it. I think you’re meant to wear a life jacket in it all the time, which I don’t. But it’s had probably twenty uses and I still like it. Eventually I’ll upgrade to a larger raft but for now this one fits the pack and the budget.Wanted a pack raft but didn’t have over a grand for one. Along came this value priced boat. Well built and easy to inflate and use. Packs so small you almost don’t know it’s there. Used it many times and you do get a bit wet but what the heck, you’re the only one with a boat. Makes lake crossing easy. But bring a life jacket or sling. It’s stable but you never know what can happen in the middle of the water when you’re alone. Highly recommended as a starter boat while you’re saving for your larger craft.
