I know Continenta brand for their excellent cutting boards. When I was searching for a book support I found out that Continenta makes them as well. Knowing them for excellent wood I decided to order a book support from them. So for today I had one book stand for already a year and now ordered 3 more. Indeed the system on the back looks a bit fragile for heavy books like there was other comments. But mine didn‘t break after 1 year of use with very heavy art books. Today I decided to add additional support with thread not only to have it more rigid but also to keep the books more vertical. One can say that for this DIY addition we can’t give 5 stars :), but I still give because I really appreciate excellent shining acacia wood which is rare in our time of cheap plastic things. In addition I really didn’t find any other book stand on Amazon that would be able to hold so well art books - that would have straight high line in front to hold well pages of expensive books. So I hope it would help you to take decision which is right for your need.

Optik:Holzmaserung und Farbe sind noch viel intensiver und dunkler als auf dem Bild. Sehr edler Look.Verarbeitung:Sehr feine Verarbeitung mit glatten Oberflächen, keine rauen oder spitzen Stellen, insgesamt sehr angenehm anzufassen.Funktionalität:Stabiler Stand trotz nicht allzu wuchtigem Bau, Bücher stehen gut, der Zwischenraum beträgt bei mir genau 3,1 cm, d.h., bei aufgeschlagenem Buchdeckel und Rezept auf Seite 1/2/3... passt sogar ein Buch hinein, das etwas dicker als 3 cm ist, je nach Dicke des Buchdeckels.Zusammenklappbar, daher gut und platzsparend zu verstauen.Sehr zu empfehlen!

Der Buchständer sieht toll aus.aber leider ist die Stütze nicht standhaft genug. Bei einem größern Kochbuch ist es weggeklappt.

Der Ständer ist stabil, sieht toll aus und ist preislich in Ordnung ! Das Holz sieht hochwertig aus. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Ist wie beschrieben und hält was versprochen wird!Wirkt nicht billig und scheint einigermaßen stabil zu sein!Jedoch passen dicke Bücher nicht wirklich rein!
