These did not fit my Koh-i-noor holder (to big), now that are in a box somewhere since I could not use them.

4.5 stars. Other 3.2mm color refills all behave like crayons. This is the only one that behaves like graphite. Majority of the colors are well-pigmented, are unbreakable, and behave like HB grade pencil.One con : some refills have a slightly “thicker” diameter, so I need to shave those down to fit inside a 3mm Caran Dache. Not a deal breaker to me.Bottom line: I was ready to give up filling my Fixpencil with color, then these arrived, I tried and got all choked up with happiness.

I like to use colored pencils for highlighters. I buy wooden ones at arts and crafts store, but you have to sharpen them. You can buy 2 mm colored leads, but they are soft and tend to break at the gripping mechanism. The 3 mm leads are stronger and don't break. Only issue is both the pens and the leads are hard to find. No problem. Amazon has both. These work. I even like the graphite leads at times. Incidentally, I do not have the same problem with 2 mm graphite breaking, so often I just stick with them for writing. Back in the day, these 2 mm were THE standard for drafting, so all varieties of hardness are available. If you haven't, just give them a try.Back to these 3 mm leads. They are great. Koh-i-noor makes a leadholder for 3 mm as does Caran d'Ache (Fixpencil) which I prefer. Great for highlighting and they won't dry out if you leave the cap off!
