I was tired of upright napkin holders where the napkins ended up folded over or difficult to remove just one. This attractive holder did not need to be aired out and was useable as soon as I opened the box. I highly recommend.

I bought this to go with our neutral-boho-farmhouse-y styled house. I like it- it's high quality and just a simple, tasteful accent. Size-wise it's perfect. I'm really happy with the whitewash and I think the color looks good. It's not fussy or grandma-y like a lot of napkin holders. I know a lot of reviewers said they used it for a nautical theme, and I could see it going that way, but I don't think it looks like that on it's own. I don't think it's blatantly farmhouse, either, which I wanted to avoid (I like more subtle nods, personally). Overall, I think it's just a nice piece that adds some texture, but that it's not boldly one style or another. Very versatile. Plus, you can always paint it or wash it with another color when your tastes change, which is something I look for.
