I started using this special soap that was doing wonders for my dry hands, so I needed a dish. I liked the simplicity of this one and the marble was kind of luxurious. I’ve had no problems with it. It keeps my soap dry. If there is ever standing water in it, it’s easy to drain quickly. Love it!

This soap dish arrived in 1 piece, which is not an easy feat for shipping anything made of natural marble, trust me! It’s very attractive, smooth, and matches my marble bathroom countertop perfectly. Has 3 tiny drain holes in middle to keep soap scum from getting soupy in dish. I’ve found it can fir 2 bars side by side fairly well. It comes with 4 clear little pads that can be attached so the marble dish doesn’t scratch whatever surface you are putting it on, in my case, the tile bump out in my new tub/shower wall. My only suggestion would be to add sticky pads w/adhesive, as im concerned that if knocked down somehow, it will almost certainly break my shower tile, and make big scratches in my new acrylic tub on the way down, unless it hits my foot and breaks that first, lol!

I was actually pleasantly surprised with this! It is elegant, and quite a bit heavier than I expected (so not as easy to accidentally knock over). So far it's been easy to clean as well. I highly recommend!
