Der Topf an sich ist super, aber der Deckel zum Abgießen von Nudeln gar nicht geeignet! Ich habe mich schon ein paar mal am heißen Wasser verbrannt, wenn der Deckel verrutscht ist! Und der rutscht immer!

For starters, I rarely use this as a Dutch oven. I have an inexpensive off-brand ceramic cast iron one that out performs the my overpriced Le Creuset and this wouldn't ever come close. However I love pans like this when I'm making a quick stew on the stove top, or want to cook some large veggies like broccolini. I have a big family and need a lot of capacity, and this is perfect. And it cleans up easy: which is critical because we go through a lot of dishes to feed our family.I don't do a lot of searing with this, but I've done enough to say it heats pretty evenly, and fast thanks to the thick aluminum base. Really fast actually, so be careful that you don't burn anything. The handle angles are supposed to keep cool, but I don't find that particularly true. It might help a little. I love the glass lid: when I've got a bunch of dishes in flight, I don't wan to have to lift a bunch of lids. Being able to see everything with a glance just makes it all easier.I like the non-stick. It's not too glassy, but effective enough to prevent sticking. They claim you can use metal utensils on it, but I'm not going to try my luck. I have plenty of silicon utensils, and I'd rather make sure the pan lasts a long time.So far this pan has held up well, even in the dishwasher. I've got a few Kuhn Rikon pans and they have all held up well. I think this is a really good mid-priced brand. Overall I think this is a good addition to my kitchen. It may not be my go-to Dutch oven, but it's a versatile pot I can really make use of. It won't be gathering dust.

I had never heard of Kuhn Rikon cookware before, so when I saw some of their products on Amazon I did some research on the company. Apparently they are a well known company in Switzerland that has been in business for more than 100 years. They have been selling their products in the US since 1988. They have also won several design awards for their cookware. After reading all of these positive articles about the company, of course I had to try their pans. This Dutch oven is part of their Easy Pro line. After using this pot for a few days, it seems to be as good as any pot of this style I have used, including much more expensive ones by companies such as All-Clad. The handles on both the pot and lid are cool enough to hold without a glove, which is exceptional. Many pots have handles that remain cool while cooking, but usually the handle for the lid will always get very hot. Not so with this pot, so I am impressed. The nonstick coating is also very good quality. When I checked the warranty on the Kuhn Rikon website, I see that their cookware has a limited lifetime warranty which covers defects in materials and workmanship. For the Easy Pro line, the nonstick coating is covered for 2 years. Based on my experience so far, I expect this pot to last for many years. It's a great addition to my kitchen and I highly recommend this pot to anyone who is a serious cook.

This pot has many pluses:- It is light enough to hang on my kitchen grid.- It heats quickly, and cools down quickly, on my induction top.- The metal rim of the lid is sealed to the glass without leaving a crud trap around the circumference.- The nonstick feels robust, without the waxy feel of cheap nonstick.Nothing being perfect, the outsides of the handles and outer edges of the rim would be better if they were more rounded (for the rim, I guarantee this is where the nonstick is going to fail first). The first time I used the pot it boiled over, and, after turning off the cooktop, mopping up, and turning the cooktop back on, I looked up to see the pot pretending to be a hovercraft. The bottom of the pot is very smooth, the bit of water under it had turned to steam, and fortunately I have fast reflexes.

This non stick Dutch Oven and is big enough to use to cook a pot roast easily. It is coated with titanium to prevent scratching of the non stick surface. This pot will last a good long time and give you lots of use to make stews, soups and more.
