Kuretake. I believe it was one of the first purchases I ever made online. One of their sable hair luxury brush pens. I absolutely adore this brand, so call my review biased, but I was ecstatic when I was given the chance to review these.In my opinion the set is a great gift for any artist. It has a varying range of sizes, and firmness with only the largest being the most brush like and even that one is still quite firm. These are more akin to pens than brushes, but I think they're a fantastic way to get some interesting inking lines or dip your toes into brush pens.They don't have replacable ink cartridges, so once they're dried out, you'd have to toss them, or hang them on your wall as decoration.Speaking of which, although these pens are plastic, their simple color scheme and design goes a long way them making them as pleasant to look at as they are to use. You can thank the rubber grip which gives them a good balance in addition to comfortable feel in the hand.Overall, I'm super stoked to have these. They're fantastic. I can't overstate what a great gift these make for any artist if your life.

Anyone who enjoys writing or drawing will love this Kuretake Bimoji Brush Pen Value Set of 5 (Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad). I am a complete novice to this style of pen that's also known as a "fudepen." It's a cross between an ink brush and a fountain pen. I ordered this set to have the chance to try the different nib sizes. Usually, I'm an extra fine point type of writer, but my favorite pen from the set is the "Medium Brush" size. It is surprisingly like writing with a brush dipped in ink without any of the mess, hassle, and cleanup.Like with a brush, the angle of the pen you approach the paper with will determine the line thickness, so people who enjoy calligraphy will like this set. I was also impressed at how comfortable and lightweight the pens are, especially their rubber grips. I like their resemblance to traditional bamboo brushes, complete with a little loop at the end to hang them. The ink flow of the pens were consistent on the smooth, lightweight sketchbook paper I'm currently using. With my thin paper I can see the ink on the reverse side, but the ink did not bleed through. The ink also dried quickly, which helps if you're left-handed to prevent smudging with the heel of your hand. Overall, this is a great set for personal use or to give someone as a gift. It's pretty affordable too.

I love kuretake pens; I use them a lot for lettering or for inking drawings. They're a great shortcut for getting dynamic and varied line widths, as the nibs are flexible (but sturdy) and maintain a fairly sharp point. There's a lot of variety in this pack; three flexible nib pens, and one that is more of a true brush. All of them, in terms of flexibility and ease of use, are great! The ink is nice and bold, and dries down quick. My only complaint is that they're not as ... juicy.... as the fudenosuke pens I've bought individually before; the amount of ink seems to be kind of low. I was forced to do my inking a little slower than I would like to avoid breaks or empty spots in the ink flow, which is annoying. They're not dry, but they're not as saturated as I would like for brand new pens out of the package.

Acquistate per disegno. La qualità è buona proporzionata al costo. Le punte non si rovinano e l'inciostro è di un nero denso. Peccato non siano ricaricabil. La durata è ancora da valutare.
