Das Ding ist totaler Mist. Die Krokodilklemmen sind nur in die Arme gesteckt, beim hineinstecken brechen die Plastikhalterungen und die Klemmen fallen sofort aus den Armen heraus.Das Ding ist Müll, schon in der Produktion! Halten sie Ausschau nach verschraubbaren Klemmen.

premesso che 3 tappini per tenere i coccodrilli su 5 si sono spezzati appena montati, e che la rotella di fissaggio si stacca quando si svita il supporto da tavolo (è tenuta da una vite, che, essendo fissata in senso orario, si svita quando si gira il supporto in senso antiorario per smontarlo), svolge bene il suo compito.é rigido, ed una volta fissato il pezzo su cui si vuole lavorare, si può anche esercitare pressione (esempio tirando un componente mentre si scalda per rimuoverlo) senza che il tutto si pieghi. Complessivamente sono soddisfatto, per quanto sia un po caro per quel che è.

Most importantly, they highlight “metal screws” in the video, but the screws are indeed plastic on the one they sent me. I probably wouldn’t have noticed or cared, but that’s the problem with over-selling and under-delivering.

This set of helping hands is such a huge upgrade! My prior sets of helping hands are the traditional type with two short metal arms with joins and a weighted base. Those slid all over the table, and the arms were limited in their flexibility being metal, and it was awkward to try to use two of you needed more than two alligator clips. On the other hand this set has long, flexible plastic arms, made entirely of ball joints, which can bend a nearly infinite number of ways. It has four arms, which has been very useful, especially when you need to, for example, hold back a rubber waterproofing cover in addition to holding the parts being soldered. It clamps to the table, so sliding around is no longer even remotely an issue.The removable wrap on the alligator clips’ teeth are also a nice touch, protecting delicate surfaces. Because it includes two extra clips, and they feature tool-less swapping of clips, you can easily keep some with the rubber shrink wrap protection and some without, swapping as-needed. All-in-all, this is an excellent and very useful product!
