Bought this for my husband, who enjoys 'proper' coffee in the morning. The unit is good quality and looks good. It's easy to clean too which is great!

Makes 1.5 mugs of coffee. I live on my own so wanted a small size and fed up with smashing my glass ones. I have a bigger stainless coffee pot for friends. Easy to clean and put together.

Ideal size for 1 mug or 2 expresso cups and has a cool wall outer so safe to pick up or around children,and keeps in side piping hotA 5 ⭐ product happy to buy again and recommendI use mine for loose tea and works ideal for that.

I've always just ahd glass cafetière and had no idea what I was missing out on. I can prepare a coffee for myself, let it steep in this with the lid on, get distracted by something else and ten minutes later it's as hot as though I'd just poured it from the kettle. This one looks great as well if you give it a little buff during drying. I don't understand the reviewer who said it squirted the water from the spout when they plunged it, they must have been doing it too fast. I've had zero issues and actually find the action on the plunge to be very good. Best cafetière I've ever owned. Very happy. :)

This 3 cup (that's 3 espresso sized cups) or 1 normal mug-sized coffee pot will be more sturdy for taking away on holidays. No glass to break. I could've bought one of several different options of a stainless steel, double-walled 3 cup cafetière but bought this one specifically because the description says 'dishwasher safe.' However, when it arrived in the La Cafetière branded box, it clearly states on the box that it is not dishwasher safe. I imagine that the internal parts, which are the same as the other Bodum 3 cup pots, are dishwasher safe but the actual pot itself isn't.
