Bought for my lava lamp but didn’t read the code correctly, so unfortunately these don’t fit mine.

Als ich sie gekauft und zusammengebaut habe, dachte ich, oh je, was passiert, wenn die Lampe nicht mehr funktioniert. Da habe ich dann hier gesehen, dass man zu einem anständigen Preis gleich zwei passende Leuchtkörper als Ersatz bekommt.

With initial inspection, I noted that this has a domed glass top, which is typical for a lava lamp bulb. I first tested this in a Mathmos Astro in an ambient temperature around 20 C. The bulb worked and fitted fine, and drew 28 watts as claimed. The Astro normally takes a 35 watt bulb, so as expected, the lamp was more sluggish than it would be with a higher wattage bulb, after a few hours to get going. I then tested in a Mathmos Telstar, which does use a 28 watt bulb, and that worked fine. The bulb seems good value, and comparable to others we have used in our lava lamps.
