This had been on my Wishlist for quite a while and I finally got it! Couldn't be happier. The size is perfect for 1/2 pax. It's great quality and looks beautiful.

In May 2017 I moved from a hundred-plus year-old California Craftsman in the Bay Area to a 1940's Shaker Heights home in Ohio. The biggest difference was going from a kitchen I couldn't update to an amazing kitchen that had been updated four years ago. So with this new cooking kingdom and the budget I created to accommodate this new experience, I began buying Le Creuset cookware. This roasting pan says stoneware but I think it's enameled cast iron--it's heavy enough--and I love it. And I made Like all my new Le Creuset cookware, it cleans up just by soaking it. What I think is burned on isn't. Every little crust and dark spot comes off. So that's one thing that's great. Then there's the sheer pleasure of having dependable cookware. I'm in cooking heaven!OOPS! I made the same error in writing this review that I made when I purchased this. This is a small roasting pan and it's stoneware. AND I do love it. I've used it for a small roast and a side dish. Both experiences were great as the pan was exactly the right side for this person, the only carnivore in the family regarding the roast and a successful, tasty side dish of roasted veggies for another occasion to share with others. I expect to use it to bake as well when I make small servings of brownies--I saw that on a Food Network show. In fact the several Food Network shows I watch are abundant users of Le Crueset cookware and amply impacted my choice to use these pans because of their versatility. Also these pans look good in all colors, which is what I've done--selecting several colors. Way to go!
