Ihr Warenkorb ist leerDie Leofoto LB-65 ist eine professionelle Nivellierbasis, deren Stativplatte und Basisplatte einen Durchmesser von 65 mm haben. Die Leofoto LB-65-Nivellierbasis kann auf allen Leofoto-Stativen und natürlich auch auf anderen Stativen mit einer 3/8-Zoll-Stativschraube verwendet werden. Dank der Tragfähigkeit von nicht weniger als 18 Kilo ist dies ein ideales Zubehör für den professionellen Fotografen, der horizontal und mit großer Präzision arbeiten möchte.
Für die Metallteile verwendet Leofoto die hochwertige 6061-T6 Aluminium-Legierung mit Magnesium und Silizium als Legierungsbestandteile. Dieses korrosionsbeständige Material zeichnet sich durch hohe Festigkeit und gute Zähigkeit aus. Die Streckgrenze ist vergleichbar mit Baustahl. Alle Teile werden auf modernsten CNC-Maschinen aus dem vollen Material gefräst und sind dadurch deutlich stabiler als Gußteile. Auch hier macht Leofoto keine Kompromisse!i.f.

Erst mal das positive. Funktion ist gegeben. Durch einen Dreh lässt sich die Nivellierbasis lösen, verstellen und genau so einfach wieder fixieren. Stabilität ist auch OK.Jetzt das große Problem:Die Nivellierbasis darf auf keinen Fall in der fixierten Position gelagert werden.Nach einem Tag lässt sich sonst die Nivelierbasis nicht wieder lösen.Dazu ist dann eine Rohrzange mit viel Gewalt notwendig oder eben ein sehr schneller und starker Hammerschlag. Auch muss dabei unten in die Löcher ein Inbusschlüssel oder Schraubendreher einstecken um die Basis festzuhalten.Wenn die Nivellierbasis im frei beweglichen Zustand gelagert wird gibt es keine Probleme und lässt sich einwandfrei verwenden.Allerdings möchte man auch manchmal die Nivelierung fixieren um das Stativ mit Panoramakopf einfacher zu transportieren oder über Nacht lagern.Ärgerlich wird es wenn man dann beim Shooting feststellt dass sich die Nivellierbasis nicht mehr bedienen lässt weil man Ausversehen doch die Position fixiert hat.Steine vor Ort lassen sich nicht wirklich benutzen um die Arretierung wieder los zuschlagen.Dann hilft nur manuell mit den Beinlängen des Stativs zu nivellieren.Für Leute geeignet die nicht viel Geld zur Verfügung haben oder nur selten die Nivellierung benötigen und vorher sicherstellen können dass die Nivelierbasis gelöst gelagert wurde oder vorher mit einer Rohrzange und vieeeeel Gewalt den Mechanismus wieder lösen.Als ernsthaftes Arbeitsmittel leider nicht zu gebrauchen.

Don't buy their products. I was really excited about getting this levelling head until I hand-tightened it and found that it locks, so you need a vice or hammer to unlock it. I got in contact with Leophoto and they got back to me until they worked out I bought from Amazon. As soon as that happened, they only had solutions that would cost me as much as buying a new levelling head... so It's a paperweight now.I even asked if they could provide some self repair information... but nooooo.You've been warned – Search and read the other reviews, I'm not alone.

I bought this levelling base as my travel tripod only has a ball head and I wanted to shoot multiple images to stitch into panoramas afterwards. This is impossible to do as the ball head can never be properly levelled for this purpose. After doing much online research into the various levelling bases available, I decided on this model because:- Most importantly, the method of locking the levelling base when in use. The locking mechanism utilises a "buttery" style wing nut that does not protrude above the base when the base is tilted to its maximum angle. Other style used a lock nut at one side with a ratchet lever that gets in the way at certain angles. Therefore, one has to use the ratchet mechanism to move the lever out of the way. I hope I have explained this properly. There are several goof online videos showing this in action.- Solid metal construction.- Brand reputation.I hope this is helpful.

I bought LB-65 new, several months ago. I am using it along with Leofoto G2+NP-60 Panorama geared head, to be able to quickly adjust level when tripod is installed on non-horizontal surfaces. This is often-used situation for architectural and interior photography.LB-65 has great design, small size and easy to use. I am happy with its functionality. Price/performance is great as well.
