I recently purchased the LifeStraw Official Carry Case for Personal Water Filter Straw to accompany my LifeStraw, and it has proven to be a good investment! The case is clearly designed with practicality and outdoor adventures in mind. It's sturdy enough to protect the filter, yet flexible and lightweight, which makes it easy to pack without adding bulk to my gear.Convenient Design: I love the mesh compartment inside the case, The zipper is smooth and durableCompact & Lightweight: One of the best features is how compact and lightweight the case is. Bought for my older LifeStraw. Good protection and not-too-bulky. After use it isolates any residual water from pack contents.I like the new LifeStraw model with self-contained cap but not enough to buy a one until my current model wears out.

I have purchased a third party case for the LifeStraw and it works well. The nice thing is this is made by LifeStraw, and it is slightly cheaper than the third party one. It fits the LifeStraw nicely, and it is the best way to go after using the water filter. Often times when I take a drink from questionable water and I blow it out, there is some residual water that leaks in your pack. Sure, a zip lock bag to put the straw in is a great option, but this keeps it dry, as well as nice and tidy in your pack.One recommendation is after a trip of using the water filter or even during the trip, let the case dry out to minimize any molding. I rinse it in clean water and let it dry.This is a good way to keep things organized and dry in your pack when you are on a trip with questionable water that you have to drink for a hike through or a long trek.I hope this helps.
