Having no reviews made me hesitant when it came to ordering this cable, but I went ahead and did so anyway as I have a 49" ultrawide monitor that was flickering all the time with the last cable. The reason I took the risk was that I did the maths and worked out that the data being sent down this cable was at the limit of what a displayport 1.4 cable can handle and liked the sound of the cable being active to ensure the data made it to the other end as I ordered a 5 meter cable. The flickering didn't just stop there appeared to be a lot more contrast so I think the previous cable was dropping data and maybe not transferring as many bits of colours. Overall really pleased with this cable although I suspect it will only be useful in a small set of use cases, such as when you have an ultrawide monitor such as the Samsung Odyssey G9.
