Our old scissors have become blunt over the years so it was a pleasure to receive and use these. It says they are left-handed but they can be used either way and have a really good quality feel to them.They are 21 cm long with a 9 cm blade meaning they can cut quite a lot at one time and they feel comfortable in your hand. The fact there are two pairs means you can have them in different places around the house which is also useful.

My 12 year old is left handed so I ordered these with him in mind.They look virtually identical to the scissors we already have but the blades are reversed, which makes it easier for him to see what he's cutting.One pair was slightly stiffer than the other, though I'm sure it will loosen up with use.The blades are suitably sharp, the finger/thumb holes are covered with a comfortable plastic layer which makes them feel good in your hand and they're a good size for tackling pretty much any job.

I am left-handed, and for all my life, I have used right-handed scissors. I struggle to cut anything well and with ease but I put this down to being 'cack handed.'I ordered these left-handed scissors out of curiosity and am pleased to say I was not disappointed. The black and red scissors are well made, have a comfortable grip, and have sharp blades.I can now cut with ease and smile at right-handed members of my family when they become 'cack handed' when they try to use them.Absolutely perfect and a must have for left-handed people!
