While not necessary to use wine bottle stoppers these days as most bottles now come with screw lids, I still tend to purchase bottles with a traditional cork or rubber stopper and while these can be reused it's much more fun to use a decorative stopper.Living by the sea, have a nautical themed bottle stopper is the perfect addition and this one is simply stunning.The bottle stopper would make for a lovely gift as it comes beautifully packaged in a black box with gold embossed image and lettering. Upon opening you are presented with a nice gift card, which you can also add your own message to as well. The stopper is held in place with sturdy pre cut foam so it doesn't roll around in the box.The stopper like all the others I own is tapered with rubber banding for a more secure fit for the majority of bottles available. Although it does produce a good fit I wouldn't go tipping the bottle upside down to try it out, it's more there for decoration and to prevent foreign objects getting in.

Positives:-Very good quality.Made of zinc alloy with a very nice silver finish.Gold foil embossed gift card, in a good quality open top envelope, enclosed.Excellent presentation.Negatives:-None, at the time of writing this review.Observations:-Came in a sturdy black cardboard box, with gold foil embossing on its lid, inside a black cardboard sleeve, in a crystal clear cellophane bag with a self-seal flap.A bespoke black insert, with a soft velvety surface, was fitted inside the bottom part of the box, and incorporated a cutout which housed the bottle stopper and held it very firmly and securely in place.A small length of black & gold foil tape had been placed underneath the bottle stopper, with protruding ends to facilitate removal of the bottle stopper.Conclusion:-I thought that the silver finish seemed more appropriate than bronze for a lighthouse, and it looks very attractive.With its excellent presentation, and quality, this would make a very lovely. gift.
